Event Time and Date
The Day of Silence means something different to everyone that participates. For many, the Day of Silence exists to draw attention to the silencing of queer and trans identities and experiences. Others may choose to be silent in solidarity with those who
are unable to live as their true selves. The silence also commemorates the lives lost to homicide and suicide within the LGBTQIAP+ community and all its intersections.
Everyone is invited to share a work of their own or of someone else that speaks to their true and authentic self.
