Parent Organization: University of New Hampshire

Alliance is the LBGTQ+ student group at UNH. We welcome people of all orientations and identities! Each week we have a discussion, guest speaker, or other activity related to the LGBTQ+ community. These meetings provide an opportunity for learning, venting, healing, relaxing, having fun, and building community.

Meetings: Tuesdays 7:30-9 in MUB 145

Exec members also hold weekly office hours in MUB 7 (accessible by the elevator and stairs next to the SOC), where you can speak with us privately.

Alliance is committed to making a safe environment not only for students within the organization but around Durham as well. We strive to create a community without prejudice. It is the belief of Alliance that students should be able to feel comfortable expressing their identity across campus and not feel alienated from fellow students.

Most importantly, Alliance is a support network of friends – people you come to know, trust, and respect week after week. Whether you’re looking for advice on how to come out or just looking for some friends, Alliance is there for you. Somewhere along the way, you just might find yourself calling us “family.”
